Walk to the Bijli Mahadev Temple, where you are greeted by a spectacular view of the Kullu Valley. Inside the temple is the Shiva Linga, which, without being shaped like a pillar, is mixed with butter. Year after year, the fiery flames shatter the pillar, until the priests have rebuilt it with butter.
The most popular tourist destination, Rohtang Pass. About 51 kilometers from Manali, it is a gateway to Lahaul and Spiti, and offers the opportunity to enjoy activities such as paragliding, skiing and hiking. Along the way, you watch views of waterfalls, pastures, and streams. Tired eyes and a tired mind enjoy these beautiful views.
